Mel Johnson

As founder of M3 Studios, Mel Johnson has devoted his career to defining health and fitness best practices. Applying 30 years of experience with his approachable style, Mel has worked with a multitude of clients to develop personalized training programs that achieve goals. Outside of the studio, Mel is a life-long musician and can be found spending his time with his children Lucas and Maren.

Heather Edwards

Heather is a Hopewell native. She is a former Equinox trainer and Redline sports performance coach. Heather holds a master’s degree in applied physiology with a focus on strength and conditioning. She is an ACSM- Exercise Physiologist, U.S. Weightlifting coach level 1, Pain-Free Performance Specialist, and has her ISSA-CPT. She believes that everyone should have a specifically tailored program for their specific needs and goals. Heather has been one of Mel’s students and considers him family. In her free time, she loves to garden and play with her five cats.
